An outfit for courage, confidence and independence
Harnesses are becoming increasingly popular and add a certain spice to bedrooms and especially to going out outfits. In essence, a harness is nothing more than a set of straps that accentuate specific body parts and the skin. Fashionable and sensual at the same time. Made from leather, faux leather or even rope. Depending on the material and craftsmanship, a harness can be soft and comfortable, ideal for daily wear, or firmer and more striking for special occasions.
For testing we first went to the Naughty Market in Berlin where many designers exhibit and sell their handmade pieces. We wanted to ask them and the visitors what matters most when wearing a harness or body. “Accentuating the figure and highlighting it positively,” exhibitor Jonas immediately said when we spontaneously interviewed people at his booth. “It has to fit, be comfortable and definitely not rub,” added visitor Janina. Fit and comfort are therefore key alongside the overall look. Pricewise, models at the Christmas market ranged between 100 and 300 euros, and therefore above our test model. What people found particularly interesting about ours were the handcuffs as a fashionable accessory and gadget. Fetish and fashion are now inseparably connected.
What does a harness need to do? And what a body harness?
For many people wearing a harness is a form of self expression, desire and fantasy. Just as an overture in music serves as a prelude, our Harness Body in the ouvert style is the perfect companion for exciting sessions and does not even need to be taken off. And with that we come to the greatest advantage of body harnesses. With their straps they frame the torso and midsection perfectly. No matter what body shape someone has. And the erogenous zones remain freely accessible at all times.
For the practical test we again asked our model Browniey to put the matte black body harness through its paces. The elastic straps, fixed to several rings, can be put on quickly and adjusted easily. Once worn, the interplay of rings and straps creates a dynamic look. The slim handcuffs attached to small chains underline this dominant appearance. If you want to appear more submissive, you can attach a leash to the upper ring. There is also enough space for a choker or collar.
The handcuffs can be worn at the wrists or elbows and subtly restrict the movement of the arms. They did not tear even during unexpected or quicker movements.
Our highlight: the detachable crotch chain
The body harness was also comfortable while sitting. The material, made of ninety percent polyester and ten percent elastane, always provided a snug fit without constriction. The crotch chain is not only an eye catcher in the lower area, it also adds additional sensations as it gently swings back and forth. No matter what is “down there.”
Speaking of cleanliness and care, the harness body and both restraint straps can be washed easily by hand with a gentle detergent.
Conclusion: Freedom in chains. Fit and comfort are ensured at all times through the construction with the rings and the material. Together with the cuffs and the chain it is a playful combination that creates a distinctive look. And for 79.95 euros it is an absolutely fair price performance ratio.
